Design your office quickly and easily, with Design Made Easy 2!
This
is a brief
tutorial of a great program available to redesign your office, view
products from our S.P. Richards catalog, and even place an order
without leaving your desk. Please drop us an email for any questions
you may have regarding this process. Thanks!
When you are ready to go, click the logo to begin.
When
you first run this program, you will be asked to install a 3D rendering
program, which is needed. As soon as it is finished installing, you'll
be asked to restart your browser, and then you're ready to go!
We suggest you check out the Help section first, as a
brief overview of the controls you'll be using to lay out your office.
If you've started and need a
little refresher,
there is a quick help bar
on the right.
The controls are very easy to use, and
will take little time to master. The one control that was left out of
the help section
is the 3d View
button.
When chosing your room shape,
you can set exact values
to conform to. This insures that whatever you put into your new office
will fit perfectly! No more second guessing - everything in this
program is to scale.
If it fits in the layout, it fits in your office.
(Make
sure you have your
office dimensions right!)
With your office dimensions set, you can now
start adding furnisings to your office. Choose
from a variety of product lines offered by S.P. Richards,
and select your choice.
From here, you can choose to place
and rotate your items, and even select a finish
(if available).
When you have finally finished setting up your
newly designed office, click on
Shopping List to view your
cost and finally, email your list directly to Kevin. From there, we
will call ahead
to confirm, and place your order.
Should you not be ready to order, you can save
your layout for future viewing and editing.
Feel free to use this program anytime, for any reason! It could be very
useful in picking that
new paint color for your office as well!
